Report to Captain Trip

Trip covers identity, weather, safety, consent, prohibited conduct, and the enduring fact that the boat remains a boat throughout the experience.

Cross the one-mile threshold

Trip sails or motors offshore and positions the vessel safely. He then follows the privacy protocol and becomes professionally fascinated by navigation.

Return with ceremonial status

You come back as members of a club with no legislative authority, no practical benefit, and a remarkably strong story.

The experience is intimate before anyone has made a decision. Guests should arrive with realistic ideas about headroom, personal space, and maritime glamour.

Where the satire ends

When Trip says it does.

Consent is continuous. Either guest can pause or end the experience at any time, without debate or ceremony.

Trip has final authority. Weather, vessel, route, and safety decisions are not subject to romantic enthusiasm.

Privacy has physical limits. Trip must remain able to respond immediately to any safety concern.

Respect is mandatory. Harassment, unsafe intoxication, or boundary violations end the voyage.
