What is this, exactly? A private sailing experience for consenting adult couples who want to travel at least one mile offshore, spend a defined private interval together, and return as members of a deliberately exclusive club.
Is this a joke? The organization has a sense of humor. The charter does not improvise with safety, consent, privacy, or the judgment of Captain Trip.
Who is Captain Trip? Trip operates the vessel and makes every navigation, weather, and safety decision. He is the person preventing your unusual evening from becoming a reportable maritime event.
Will Trip be watching? No. Trip is not an audience or participant. He follows the privacy protocol while remaining able to respond to vessel or safety needs. A 24-foot boat cannot produce the privacy architecture of a hotel.
What boat is used? A Cal T/4: a 24-foot Quarter Ton racing design by Bill Lapworth and built by Jensen Marine. It is compact, responsive, and visible throughout this website because it is the actual boat.
Who can participate? Consenting adults age 21 or older who satisfy identity, sobriety, conduct, and charter requirements. Enthusiasm is not a substitute for eligibility.
What if the weather changes? Trip may delay, reroute, return, or cancel. The atmosphere does not recognize club reservations. Rebooking and refund terms will be stated before payment.
Will our names or photos be published? Not without explicit permission. Public recognition is opt-in. Quietly knowing what you did is the standard membership package.
Is the cabin luxurious? The original Cal T/4 literature described a finished two-cabin interior and berths for four. We describe it as a real 24-foot sailboat and encourage proportionate expectations.
Where will voyages launch? The initial operating schedule is still being formalized. Early-access requests help determine demand and give us something respectable to call this stage of the project.
